The unfolding of both the months of May and June have been filled with a lot of different turns in terms of our ministry engagements as SCOZ, challenging and calling us to walk on water and doing things differently as God nudges us to listen and obey. As a ministry experienced a challenging patch in terms of activity follow up, core direction and a shaking in terms of where we need to focus and emphasise our efforts on, it has been both exciting and trying. During my trip to Cape Town, a strong word which hit me and the ministry activities at SCOZ was the following verse, “ 1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that all the runners in a stadium compete, BUT only one receives the prize? SO run to win. 9:25 Each competitor must exercise self-control in everything. They do it to receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one.”
